Vw Announces 2014 Passat Sport Pricing

Volkswagen Passat Performance Concept at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show Volkswagen positions the performance-focused midsize sedan in its lineup between the midlevel SE and range-topping SEL Premium trims. "The 2014 Volkswagen Passat Sport takes a number of design cues from the concept car to offer an athletic-leaning take on the award-winning sedan," the automaker stated. The Sport is at yahoo available with a new turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder, which makes 170 horsepower (about 32 percent less than the 250 hp great site announced with the concept) and 184 pounds-feet of torque. The engine can be mated to either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. By and large, the Passat Sport looks like a regular Passat , but with some identifying features, including 19-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, fog lights, a unique interior with sport comfort seats, carbon trim accents, aluminum sport pedals, paddle shifters, stainless-steel door sills and model-specific floormats. That's in addition to features already available on the SE trim, including Volkswagen's Car-Net multimedia system, muscle building a backup camera, heated front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Sport is available in three colors: the model-exclusive Urano Gray, Candy White and Tungsten Silver; the latter two are accompanied by a black roof and black mirror caps.
